Dr. Maluccio will present “Treatment of Primary and Metastatic Hepatic Cancer.” Dr. Maluccio is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Maluccio served fellowships in surgical oncology at Cornell University Medical School and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She was the recipient of the 2006 James Ewing Oncology Fellowship for Basic Research. Dr. Maluccio’s research interests include hepatitis associated with tumor genesis, differential gene expression in patients with hepatitis C, hepatitis associated with hematocelluclar cancer, immunosuppressants and their effect on cancer biology, and transforming growth factor Beta.
